Tough call but only pick one of each.
Mine.
Best. The EINTRACHT semi in 76.
Worst. The 1-2 defeat against Chelsea, 85/86 season.

Best - Slater's fa cup semi v Everton, incredible atmosphere.
Worst - v Middlesbrough, winning 1-0 with a few minutes to go and Bernie fucking Slaven popped up twice to practically send us down.

Best: Ipswich Semi Final 2004
Worst: 3-4 against Tottenham 2007 when Stalteri scored the winner. By far and away the worst for me, at the time, but triggered our great escape thankfully.

Best: 2-1 vs Arsenal 1999, action packed including PDC brace and infamous Viera sending off/gobbing incident. Sweet result following previous cup upsets against them.
Worst: Fulham 0-2 2001, Much hyped game at 'Fortess Upton Park' turned out to be a complete anticlimax. Think Hayles may have scored one of them.

The worst atmosphere I remember was a match at some point between 92 and 94 against Ipswich, standing in north bank. Depressing run of matches and awful match, almost silence.
I'm not sure about the best... no I am, it's the Ipswich play off second leg sitting directly in a line behind Etherington and I could see it going in as soon as it left his boot... and the loudest it's ever been as an all seater stadium.

I've seen some great wins over Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool over the years so I guess, performance-wise, it's got to have been one of them...
Favourite over Arsenal: was the one already mentioned. The Paolo Show in 99/00.
Favourite over Spurs: 4-3 win in 96/97. DICKSY having yet another blinder.
Favourite over Chelsea: probably the 2-1 win this season, I reckon. Had it all. A lot of drama and a fantastic winner near the end.
Favourite over Man Utd: wasn't at the 1-0 win when Kenny Brown stopped them winning the league when we were already down. Home wins are quite rare against them but the 4-0 League Cup victory in the snow can't really be beaten for me.
Favourite over Liverpool: got to be the 3-0 win midweek in 94/95 when DEADLY DON got a brace. We were still in danger of relegation that season and this win all but ended that fear.
As for shit games; there have been some proper depressing ones over the years but I'd rather not dwell on them - I'll leave that to THE DRUIDS as they love all that.

favourite - have to agree that paolo destroying arsenal and in particular chimp head keown is up there with any other game at upton park. that day he was unplayable
worst - the game in 85-86 against the Chelsea scum. even though we had more games to go, in my heart I knew that was the game that cost us the title. fucking doug rougvie

Sunday 7th May 2006. On the Saturday night went to the hospital to see my dad who'd been admitted a few days earlier. Got up at about 5am on the Sunday for the Lasagnegate game gains tthe Spuds and had the best day ever.
Sadly my dad passed away the following Friday (the day before THE FA Cup Final) and still haven't watched that game to this day.
I only ever get to Upton Park 1-2 games a season and always think of my dad when I'm there.

Too many of either arsenal in 87.stands out as a good un same as Luton in the cup in 91 Frankie mac turned the clock back that night and of course muppetwall in the league cup a few years ago . Worst Barnsley in the league cup in 87. 2 0 up yet lost 5 2. and when the n17 tossers beat us in the fa cup quarter finals in 2001 we were absolute diabolical .

Best, 5-4 against Bradford, worst, sadly not sure were to begin...........maybe 0-1 loss to Chelsea in 1975 as it was my first game, highly excited only to see us lose, gutted.

Worst? Easy..losing to slurs in the fa cup when the announcer wished spurs good luck.
